1. Overview and basic results of the event
The 2025 Gate International Rope Rescue Technology Invitational Competition was successfully held at the Hunan Regional Rescue Hengyang Center from November 6th to 9th. As an important platform for international rescue technology exchanges, this event brought together a total of 13 professional teams and 91 elite players from Thailand, Hungary, Singapore, Spain and Hunan Province to compete on the same stage. During the event, nearly 2,000 Chinese and foreign rescue experts, practitioners and enthusiasts were attracted to observe, and hundreds of thousands of online interactions and onlookers were observed, and in-depth reports from more than ten mainstream media such as Xi Qiangguo, Hunan Daily, and Hunan Satellite TV were obtained, and more than 45 reprinted reports were published, with a total of about 1 million hits, and the event had a wide influence and fruitful results.
2. Main work and highlight results
(1) The subject setting is practical and shows the professional charm of "strength and technology"
The event fully relies on the unique landform of Hengyang's "majestic, strange, dangerous and secluded", and carefully designs eight group rescue subjects such as "Qingyun Zhizhi", "Green Raincoat and Green Hat" and "Black Hole Accretion" in real scenes such as canyons, cliffs, bridges, and water. These subjects vividly simulated various types of emergencies such as high-altitude rescue, field rescue, vehicle falling into the river, personnel trapped, medical assistance, etc., and comprehensively and rigorously tested the rescue skills, medical technology, equipment application, teamwork and on-the-spot emergency response capabilities of each participating team. In particular, high-tech means such as the coordinated use of heavy machinery and the construction of rope bridge systems towed by drones, as well as ultra-difficult subjects such as climbing the 50-meter Quanxi Bridge and the erection of the 168-meter T-shaped crane rope bridge, became the highlight of the audience because they were extremely challenging and highly close to actual combat, vividly demonstrating the technical depth and professional charm of modern rope rescue.
(2) Organizational guarantee is professional, and a solid foundation for "safe and efficient" operation is firmly established
The successful holding of the event is due to a solid and reliable organizational guarantee system.
1. Government-led, coordinated: The Hengyang Municipal People's Government has given strong support, led by the Municipal Emergency Management Bureau, and held a guarantee work scheduling meeting with various municipal departments and relevant units, establishing a guarantee consensus of "full support + technical support + safety coverage", laying a solid foundation for the efficient advancement of preparatory work.
2. Accurate survey and safety support: The emergency management department carried out three rounds of precise surveys of the event venue, focusing on key safety indicators such as the stability of the mine slope, the load-bearing capacity of the bridge, the building structure, and the flow rate of the water, and simultaneously implemented prevention and control measures to ensure that nothing was wrong.
3. Resource integration and technology empowerment: Advanced equipment such as DJI M30T drones, Sany Heavy Industry's 80-ton truck cranes, and portable anchor fixing systems were efficiently deployed, and technical backbones were organized to complete the site setting and testing of all subjects in advance.
4. Professional support, full escort: 40 backbones with advanced operation qualifications for high-angle rescue ERE double rope technology were selected from the province's mobile mobilization, and a professional support team was formed to carry out special tests and full-process simulation drills for complex and difficult subjects such as long-span rope bridge construction and water wounded transfer, ensuring a smooth schedule and controllable risks.
(3) Deepen international exchanges and successfully build a cooperation platform of "sharing and co-construction"
This event effectively played the role of a platform for in-depth interaction of international rescue forces. During the event, the Hungarian team's on-site demonstration of double rope safety operation stunts and the innovative water transfer techniques shared by the Thai team triggered on-site observation
The personnel have a strong interest and enthusiasm for learning, and the atmosphere of interaction and exchange is warm. At the development sharing and exchange meeting held after the competition, the participating teams conducted in-depth discussions on the theme of "technology sharing, cooperation and co-construction", which not only reached a consensus on long-term cooperation, but also laid a solid foundation for continuously deepening international exchanges and cooperation in the field of emergency rescue.
3. Experience summary and future prospects
Through high-level competition, professional organization, extensive dissemination and in-depth exchanges, this event has comprehensively tested and improved the actual combat level of China's rope rescue technology, and effectively enhanced the professional image of Hunan and even China in the field of emergency management.
