October 4-7, 2024, 2nd edition of The Door "· The International Rope Rescue Technology Invitational Competition was successfully held in Jinyun County. The event brought together 19 professional teams from Germany, Hungary, Taiwan, Macao and other regions, covering fire rescue, folk rescue, outdoor sports and cave scientific research and other fields, with more than 200 participants, jointly presenting a "air ballet" that integrates technology, art and courage. As an event assistance unit, the county fire rescue brigade strictly implements the instructions of the leaders at the city and county levels, ensures the preparation and operation of the competition throughout the process, and now reports the results of the event as follows.

The Door" event is known as the world's top three rope rescue competitions, along with the Grid World Rope Rescue Championship and the Rope LifeLine International Invitational Tournament. The first event will be held in Xiamen in 2023, focusing on the technical docking between equipment manufacturers and end users, and promoting domestic rescue equipment and technology upgrades. This year's event focuses on urban rescue and mountain high-altitude rescue technology, creating an international, professional and educational exchange platform.

With the core concept of "sharing, harmony and improvement", we will build a bridge for technical exchanges between cross-strait and international rescue teams to help China's fire rope rescue technology in line with international standards.

19 teams from Germany, Hungary, Taiwan, and Macao, China participated in the competition (the HEART team in Hsinchu, Taiwan was absent due to the impact of Typhoon "Shantuo"), including the national rescue team and forest fire fighting forces in many provinces, showing the world's best rescue level.

More than 30 well-known domestic and foreign equipment companies (such as PETZL, Phoenix, etc.) participated in the exhibition, covering ropes, lighting, demolition and other fields; The County Photographers Association recorded the entire event, and 30 works were selected for the 2024 FIAP World Photographers Conference and received on-site guidance from provincial photographers.

Relying on characteristic scenes such as Jinyun Dinghu Bridge and pumped storage power station, we have innovatively designed nine theme subjects such as "Jinyun Xiandu" and "Longquan Sword", combining rope rescue with Lishui's cultural landscape:
"Jinyun Xiandu": 10 cars suspended from the rock wall to complete the demolition and rescue, creating a miracle of outdoor rescue technology;
"Jingtai Jining": 220 meters of rope bridge span, 70 meters of vertical depth, setting a new international rope event record.

The Hungarian, German and Taiwan teams visited the county fire rescue brigade and the Libang rescue team to have in-depth exchanges on equipment construction and team station culture; The Hungarian Fire Brigade presented a coin to commemorate the 150th anniversary of its founding, highlighting international friendship.

1. Build a provincial rope rescue training base
Relying on the comprehensive training base of the Lishui Fire and Rescue Detachment (Jinyun), expand youth safety summer camps, research projects and rescue exchange activities inside and outside the province, and build an industrial chain of "training + mountain economy".
2. Deepen cross-strait and international cooperation
Leveraging the cross-strait exchange base and combining the Xuanyuan Yellow Emperor joint sacrifice activities, Jinyun will be promoted to become a cross-strait rope technology hub and integrated into the "Belt and Road" rescue cooperation network.
